NAME: Aran Easwaramohan
SQUAD NUMBER: 6
ROLE: Mainly in the side to bowl, but handy with the bat and has taken inspiration from Rahul 'the Wall' Dravid. Agile fielder, willing to put himself around for the Ireland, but has known to drop one or two in the past. Passionate about his cricket, you'll be hearing his voice throughout the game.
DEEF EXPERIENCE: A newbie to the game, this will be his first appearance at the prestigious tournament. He has been in the Irish setup since Ireland accepted illegal immigrants. He has played all formats of the game except this one so has bundles of experience to cope with the temperamental and fiery Patel. A wise head looking to guide this colourful Ireland team to win.
THOUGHTS ON THE TOURNAMENT: "I've always been a fan of this tournament, and have always wanted to try and play the game. It's a little out of my comfort zone, but am very excited at the chance of playing in this amazing tournament. When I got that phone call from Phil Simmons, I was over the moon. You could say it's a dream come true ever since I was forced to escape Sri Lanka. As favourites to win there's a bit of pressure, especially as both Amar and I are brown and cricket is our only sport, however on the day who knows what can happen and who knows what the conditions will be like!"
