NAME: Nicky Rawlinson
SQUAD NUMBER: 2
ROLE: Growing up in the West Indies isn't easy for anyone, especially because everyone is black. His home island of Antigua is a tropical paradise where cricket is everywhere, unfortunately so are drugs and alcohol. It is disgusting. He grew up on the wrong side of the tracks but saw a shining light in cricket, set by the notorious gangsters of Viv Richards, Brian Lara and Ridley Jacobs. He is a jack of all trades when it comes to deefing and has a rich heritage in Deef. Although, recently hampered by injury, this Dwayne Leverock-esque is finally finding some form and should be a force to be reckoned with.
DEEF EXPERIENCE: More accustomed to the bouncy tracks of Barbados but the astro should provide a welcome change.
THOUGHTS ON THE TOURNAMENT: "West Indies has fallen over the last decade. Its ICC world ranking is in free fall as players such as Gayle, Bravo and Fairbairn are being pulled to the more lucrative IPL. It couldn't have been a greater honour to have been given the opportunity to reform the West Indies to its former glory by competing in this world renown tournament. Bring it on!"
