NAME: Rob Parker
SQUAD NUMBER: 13
ROLE: A naturalised Scot (qualifying through the most maternal of grandmothers), Robert "The Noise" Parker is a strong bowler, with a batsman who can really ensure that the tail wags. He has a particular penchant for the reverse sweep, and is not afraid to get into a bit of a verbal joust with opponents when in the field.
DEEF EXPERIENCE: Like a fine wine, Parker gets better with age, and going into his tenth season in the deef, we can expect a couple of big sixes for sure.
THOUGHTS ON THE TOURNAMENT: "You could have knocked me down with a feather when I heard the news. I was bowled over (if you'll pardon the pun). What an honour. I can only hope to rediscover some of my old form from the upper fifth, but I know that the Tartan army will not be disappointed at the sheer grit I bring to the table."
